ICPMF co-organized the Predictive Microbiology Software Fair at the 2017 IAFP Annual Meeting in Tampa (Florida, US). The symposium was a success thanks to the support of the Microbial Modelling and Risk Analysis Professional Development Group and the International Association of Food Protection. Representatives from Academia, Industry and Government attended the Software Fair, which consisted of an introductory session, in which software developers presented to the Audience, the main features and applications of several well-known software tools. Then, a hands-on session was performed, in which attendees could take a closer look at the different tools, developing specific case-studies and deepening into the potential applications of the software.
